The College was established on 09th July 1979 by the effort of local Malviya Late Zamuna Singh(Baba) and with the Co-operation of the management member.

Mr.Rajarshi Shariwahan was the king of Chainpur, State in 1497 A.D. He was a very Prominent King of his Era.He was a King of Prosperity Generosity of his Justict. His Dynesty was Spred up Through Chainpur to Sabar now in Rampur Block.

The Necessity Of This Institution is That there are no any Degree College in Five Blocks of Kaimur District as Bhagwanpur, Chainpur, Chand , Rampur and Audhaura. For the welfare and Higher study of the Students in very Backward area. The College has its good Building Play ground and fully infrastructure. Now about 2227 Hundred students are inrolled and studing in this College. There are6/42 N.C.C. and two units of N.S.S. in this college.

This College is Permanentaly affliated by state Govt. of Bihar in B.A. and B.SC- Pass and Hons. Under V.K.S.University Ara Bhojpur. This college is Registerd under 2(F) and 12(B) of U.G.C.Act. 1956. The U.G.C. has provided grants for college development.Now there are Principal Dr. Ram Nawami Tiwari 30 Asst. Professors and 53 Non- Teaching Staff. The college has adopted all the act,Regulations and statute under Bihar University Law and Orders and directions of the university.The college gets grants by state Govt. since 2008
